Testing
Op het moment dat ik deze scene zag, wist ik al dat ik verder wilde gaan in monochrome. Het contrast van het witte water tegen de donkerder blauwe lucht beloofde een mooi dramatisch effect. Het schip in kwestie is een patrouilleboot van de Rotterdamse Havenautoriteit dat zijn brandblusapparatuur test.

The moment I saw this scene, I already knew that I wanted to go further in monochrome. The contrast of the white water against the darker blue sky promised a beautiful dramatic effect. The ship in question is a patrol boat from the Rotterdam Port Authority that tests its fire extinguishing equipment.
